What camera do you use?
I use a hasselblad 500 c/m with a 3.5/60mm lens.
What is your favourite filmstock?
I am currently using Kodak Portra 160 film. My favourite films have disappeared over the years and now I shoot on anything. Part of my manifesto is to shoot on anything. I have done a couple of projects with rephotographing my colour transparency film. My love for the quality of film is accompanied by my interest exploring it in all its dying forms.
For the photos submitted, why are they your favourite?
The project Broken Horizons came from a place of wanting to play with the physicality of the medium. These images were shot and processed using analog tools and were deconstructed by hand and rearranged to create new compositions. The cloud and mountain images were some of the first creations of this project and came to embody the ethos behind the series of the tactility that I strive for in my work. I am still very happy at the success of these first creations of the series.
