1. What camera do you use?
I use a plastic cheap camera that I once bought in the local supermarket. it's like a throw-away-camera, but one that you can refill. It’s just a simple camera, where you just have to push one button to take a picture. Nothing complicated. It’s a very basic camera, I think it takes lovely pictures. There is always a beautiful atmosphere in the pictures, which makes me very happy.
Sometimes less is more.
2. What is your favourite filmstock?
Just the films that they sell at the super market, I think it’s from kodak.
3. For the photos submitted, why are they your favourite?
I only take analogue pictures during my holidays, when I travel. All these pictures where taken during my summer holiday in Copenhagen, Denmark. I love to develop the film, and re-live the feeling of the vacation, and to rediscover the places where I have been. Pictures for me are traces of memories. For me its not important that pictures are technically perfect, but the image, the feeling and the memory, can transform a picture into a good one. That's why these pictures are my favourite. I can feel again how it was to ride my bike in Copenhagen, I can feel the wind at the sea, I can almost taste the saltiness of the sea again, the flowers give me back the feeling of summer…
Memories that makes me happy.
