What camera do you use?

I have shot on my Nikon F5 for well over a decade and very I recently inherited a Hasselblad 500c from my best friends father Jim Holloway (whose granddaughter is featured in one of the photos below).

What is your favorite filmstock?
Kodak Porta for color, Ilford for B&W  (I can not speak highly enough about the Ilford lab in California, the customer service is so unparalleled, they are truly keeping it analogue in a digital world).

For the photos submitted, why are they your favourite?
My grandparents were the reason I got into audio and visual documentation, they were holocaust survivors who came to this country as refugees in 1950 (my mom was a baby at time, born in a displaced persons camp in Puch, Austria).  This narrative positioned me as a witness from a young age, it came with the tagline "Never Forget" which lead me to compulsively document them with anything I could get my hands on - cassettes, micro-cassettes, photographs, and finally video when I got to college.  I was like the kid from Everything is Illuminated, I literally have baggies with their teeth and hair.  I purchased my Nikon F5 after my grandmother passed away and many years later after my grandfather passed I stopped taking photos all together.  Last summer I pulled my camera back out and these are some of the shots I collected.
